Citadel: Improved Power Grid is a Side Mission in Mass Effect 3. Citadel: Improved Power Grid is about obtaining an improved power grid for a technician at Purgatory. Side Mission are secondary quests in Mass Effect 3, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
How to unlock Citadel: Improved Power Grid
You have to complete Priority: Palaven first.
You can find Alison, the technician that gives you this Mission, to the right of the Purgatory entrance with a dapatad on hand. Listen to her to obtain the Mission.
Citadel: Improved Power Grid Walkthrough
You can obtain the schematics by examining the Old Grid Schematics on the console located in front of the cannon during N7: Cerberus Attack on Tuchanka. Take them BEFORE turning on the power of the cannons.
If you did not manage to obtain the power grid while completing the Mission, you can purchase it at the Spectre Requisitions for 1000 Credits.
Return to Alison and hand it over to complete the Mission.
