Kestrel Helmet is a Helmet in Mass Effect 3. Kestrel Helmet  increases ammo capacity and can only be used by Commander Shepard. Helmet protects the player's head by applying various defensive properties, it also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Helmets can be toggled off if the player so desires. 

 

Kestrel Helmet Information

 The Kestrel armor system's helmet forgoes traditional transparent visors in favor of a reinforced faceplate with an internal heads-up display. The display connects to redundant micro cameras to allow naturalistic vision inside the well-padded interior.

You can purchase it from the Batarian State Arms after completing Priority: The Citadel II
