Oleg Petrovsky is a russian general who works under Cerberus. Cerberus' attention was drawn to him due to his formidable experience of being a military strategist, as well as a classical scholar with a deep knowledge of military history. In 2157, he used to a corporal of the Alliance duging the First Contact War where was forced to take command of his unit and proved his tactical brilliance by holding off repeated turian attacks for weeks.
Despite being praised and promoted for his bravery by the Alliance, Petrovsky left and opted to join Cerberus - throughout the years, he was deemed to be one of The Illusive Man's respected operatives, Petrovksy was first introduced in the comic book series, Mass Effect: Invasion, but later on, made his first video game debut in Mass Effect 3's DLC, Omega.
