Quarians are a Race in Mass Effect 3. Quarians are a nomadic race of humanoid aliens who are best known for their tremendous skills and knowledge in technology and synthetic intelligence. They are also the creators of the Geth and are now residents of the Migrant Fleet that wonders the galaxy.. Races in Mass Effect 3 have their own agendas, culture, religion, ways to govern etc. Since Commander Shepard is inevitably Human, the approach of the other Races towards Humanity is most of the time visible for the player. Many of the perceptions some Races used to have may have changed thanks to the efforts of Commander Shepard in the prequels.
Quarians Information
Quarians originated from the planet, Rannoch, where they countlessly study and discover new research for advanced technology and synthetic intelligence. At about three hundred years before 2183, Quarians created the Geth as laborers and tools of war. Upon the Geth becoming sentient, they tried to stop them but ended up with a war that forced the surviving Quarians to flee their homeworld aboard the Migrant Fleet where they now wander the galaxy, left with salvaged resources and recycled technology.
A Quarian's built is shorter and slimmer than a human being. They have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear ducts. They also have three thick fingers on both hands which include a thumb, an index finger, and a long finger, similar to the middle fingers for humans, as well as three toes on each foot.
Their lower legs are bowed backwards significantly, compared to asari or humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Male quarians, however, appear to lack a third toe. Like humans, quarian blood is red.
