SMG High-Velocity Barrel is a Submachine Gun Mod in Mass Effect 3. SMG High-Velocity Barrel increases the piercing thickness, the piercing damage and the defenses ignored by a percentage and can only be used in Submachine Guns. When a Weapon Mod is obtained, it has to be applied to the corresponding Weapon type at a weapon bench in order to equip it. Any Weapon type can possess up to two mods at a time, and the same mod cannot be applied twice to a single weapon.

Places a barrel extension on the weapon.

Upgrades: Piercing thickness, Piercing Damage and Defenses ignored.

- Level 3: 0.45 m
- Level 4: 0.55 m
- Level 5: 0.65 m
Increases piercing damage by:
- Level 1: 40.00%
- Level 2: 45.00%
- Level 3: 50.00%
- Level 4: 55.00%
- Level 5: 60.00%
Increases the percentage of defenses ignored by:
- Level 1: 50.00%
- Level 2; 60.00%
- Level 3: 70.00%
- Level 4: 80.00%
