Turians are a Race in Mass Effect 3. Turians are known for their disciplined culture and ever-expanding knowledge and skills with their background in the military. The Turians are the third race to join the Citadel Council and were given a seat after defeating the hostile Krogan during the Krogan Rebellions.. Races in Mass Effect 3 have their own agendas, culture, religion, ways to govern etc. Since Commander Shepard is inevitably Human, the approach of the other Races towards Humanity is most of the time visible for the player. Many of the perceptions some Races used to have may have changed thanks to the efforts of Commander Shepard in the prequels.
Turians Information
Turians originated from the planet Palaven and are best known and given the role of the militia across the galaxy. They contribute by deploying their finest soldiers and starships to the Citadel Fleet. Turians are well-respected due to their ethics and are the first who proposed and created C-Sec. Despite their bitterness and resentment towards the Humans, some Turians still cooperate and work with the human race as they aim to put behind their differences and to stop anything or anyone from disrupting the peace within the galaxy.
Turians typically stand over six feet tall, have two long, proportionately thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with talons, and a set of mandibles around their mouths. The most distinguishing feature of Turians is their metallic carapace, which contains trace amounts of thulium. The Turians evolved this trait as a defense against the greater levels of solar radiation that penetrate their homeworld's weak magnetic field.
Turians exhibit the characteristics of predators rather than those of prey species. Their forward-facing alert eyes give the impression that they possess outstanding eyesight and their teeth and jaws mimic the structures possessed by apex predators such as crocodiles or ancient, carnivorous dinosaurs. Their talons on both their feet and hands seem capable of ripping flesh. As such, their diet is primarily meat-based. Their slender bodies also seem to suggest that they are also capable of moving at high speeds.
